What should you know about Type at home jobs

Posted in Work at Home Scams at 1:16 pm by Andrew

Type at Home is another great system that you can use to earn cash right from the comfort of your own home. There are various programs available and these programs give you all the knowledge you require to build your own lucrative business online. Even though these programs have all the information they are not “get rich quick schemes” and they will require some hard work in the initial setup. Anyone dedicated to finally becoming financially independent then these two programs are essential, a fantastic opportunity with their own computer and access to the world wide web.

However, most of the Type at Home programs are not what they claim to be on the surface. We found that most of them have hidden extra costs that they did not inform anyone of and in the beginning for example you are required to pay out extra money for an employment kit supposedly required by a company offering a job

Most Type at Home programs are free initially, they promise free access to database of companies, but turn out costing the most in the end. Not only will you have wasted your time and money but your emails will get tons of spam, There are very few that can really make you money and have a very responsive support and are updated regularly.

Another criteria of a program is that they continually update their database of companies that are offering Type At Home positions frequently. Most programs do not do this and you will have so many people competing on the same position with no availability. It is easy to make money with Type at Home programs but there must be a position for you.

Some companies charge money to help you get into “the front door”. It is like a resume writer charging you money for making your resume a lot more “appealing”. They have a system in place that has resulted from years of trials and errors which costs time and money

You are right it does sound too good to be true. But like YouTube this is hot on the internet right now and with China’s population rushing into the cyber age this can only get better.

The trick is to know the insider secrets and have a system in place where you can spend your time earning money not being scammed into illegitimate opportunities and researching companies.

Online “get paid for surveys” - Scams or Opportunities

Posted in Work at Home Scams at 1:13 pm by Andrew

The shocking truth behind Online Paid Surveys…..

Various sites were considered and some 80+% of them were scam sites ranking extremely low in an evaluation criteria and were absolutely not recommended but a few had opportunities, the scam sites had the following in common -

• Outdated information
• Non-working links
• Links that lead to other sites asking for more money
• No help section
• No support

This is not a complete list

There were opportunities to earn money taking these pathetically easy surveys a baby could fill in and on one program the signup fee was recovered in the first ten minutes of filling in an easy survey

Various sites were considered and opportunities found

• Return on Investment
• Money making Potential
• Customer Service
• Privacy Protection
• Overall value

Return on Investment - the signup fee was recovered
Money making potential - Paid surveys online had a huge selection of survey companies
Customer Service - Top notch and courteous customer service although it lacked a personal touch and card with no phone support
Privacy protection - All details kept 100% private and their signup process was great
Overall value - Paid surveys online does really deliver they keep their service up to some amazing standards

Return on Investment - The investment was recouped and paid by first class mail

Money making potential - The potential is huge but you have to be persistent to extract as much money as you can. - you can be more laid back while companies chase you

Customer service - The customer service is awesome as well all emails are answered within 24 hours usually very courteously and friendly but no phone support

Privacy Protection - All details kept 100% private and confidential most signing up processes use the latest bank grade encryption

Overall value - it does deliver it’s main promise that is to give you the opportunity of making money taking surveys

This is a very profitable money making opportunity but you must proceed with caution. You could become very disappointed with most of the stuff and it is good advice not to join any program but to keep your options open

Do’s and Don’t of a Home Based Business

Posted in Work at Home Tips at 1:11 pm by Andrew

• Do you have the burning desire to change your current situation

• Are you a self-starter

• Are you sick of working for someone else

• Do you tire of leading a monotonous daily existence

• Do you want to work from home

• Do you want to be your own boss

• Do you want to have the ability to work flexible hours

• Do you want to choose who you work with

• Do you want to meet new people and friends

Are these your dreams?

If they are then you need to change your working life as soon as possible. The drudge of getting up at the same time every day probably very early or if you work shifts at unsocial hours of the day or night. Going to the same place every day and meeting the same people, hearing the same jokes and generally being very bored. Doing the same tasks repetitively over and over again, looking at the clock constantly and thinking it is not even lunch time yet. Then change must come otherwise you will loose direction and focus. Any drive you had will disappear and you yourself will become boring and friendless and not a joy to live with.

However, working from home has its down sides as well

• You need to be able to focus on the job in hand
• You need to avoid being distracted
• The TV is definitely a no no
• You have to have self-discipline
• You have to enjoy your own company
• You need to have a structure to your working life at home
• You need to dedicate a room ideally in your home as your office
• If you cannot dedicate a room then you must have a space away from the family
• Distractions are huge that is why it is better to be in an office within your home

There is also a cost to setting up your office at home. You will need to buy equipment such as a computer/laptop. If a laptop then you probably need a large monitor and a docking station. You will need a printer probably a scanner also office furniture, drawers and cupboards plus filing cabinets to keep your files in order. There is stationery required, paper, pens, envelopes etc. all costing money. So be prepared to pay out for what you need

Overall it is a very worthwhile experience and will either suit you or you will hate it and cannot wait to get back to your friends at work

Have you got a blog? Is it more than 30 days old? Well how about having a go at paid blogging?

There are several sites that will actually pay you if you blog about a specific topic and include a link to a site…

Of course this is subject to all sorts of rules - for example - one of the sites insists that the blog is hosted on your own webspace and uses Wordpress. But others are a little bit more leniant.

Here are some sites that you might want to research:

Identity theft

Posted in Taxation & Legality at 7:59 am by Andrew

Identity theft - there is a simple automated way to help detect and protect against the impact of identity theft

Regularly checking your credit card statement for entries you did not make is one of the best ways to combat identity theft. Monitor your statement regularly altering the credit card company immediately as someone might try to get credit in your name so you need to act before serious damage is done.

Company identity theft has recently been highlighted by Companies House - the threat is called “company highjacking”. Principally affecting small and medium sized businesses, the cost to industry caused by this type of fraud is estimated to be more than £55 million per year.

The fraudster files forms at Companies House notifying them of the appointment of a fictitious new director and a new registered office for a legitimate company. The Registrar who cannot check that all these documents are genuine and is not obliged by law to do so, registers them. The fraudster then uses the company’s credit rating to obtain high-value goods and services.

There are various protective measures that can be taken.

• Check regularly to ensure you have not been targeted. Check your company’s registered office online
• File electronically and sign up to the Companies House “proof” service
• Delegate monitoring and subscribe to Companies House Direct online search service whereby Companies Houses monitors your Company and emails you if a document is filed, If the document was filed by you, you can ignore the email and there is no charge

A public education campaign is in place to encourage people to work more closely with law enforcement officials in an effort to fight a crime that has emerged as a major concern among politicians and consumers in recent years.

Statistics show that identity theft has moved well past the bud stage to reach the level of full-blown weed infestation in recent years. The number of US consumers that complained about some sort of identity theft nearly doubled last year

Yet some believe consumer education can only go so far and that legislation may be necessary. Banks and credit card companies are mishandling the problem by treating fraud as a cost of doing business rather than as a crime against their customers

There is a serious disconnect between identity theft that innocent consumers experience and the industry’s recognition of the credit. Credit card fraud accounted for 42% of the identity theft complaints to the FTC last year.

Affiliate marketing

Posted in Affiliate Marketing at 7:56 am by Andrew

Affiliate marketing is a unique affiliate network specialising in driving sales to advertisers on a cost per acquisition basis. It is an important aspect of growing your business with a successful affiliate marketing programme.

This type of marketing is suitable to small entrepreneurial businesses or a brand leader, and there are different solutions to suit individual needs.

Affiliates are often website owners who are prepared to divert their targeted traffic via banners, buttons or text links to areas of your site. They would consider doing this on the basis that any sales accruing from that diverted traffic would earn them a commission

Other affiliates, known as pay per click affiliates may be individuals or companies who will invest in keyword campaigns on major search engines such as Google. Bidding on terms relevant to your business, the advertisements can drive customer traffic to your site in return for a commission. They take the financial risk on the campaign and you pay them only for results they will already have delivered on.

This type of marketing can range from niche content sites with discreet audiences to major shopping comparison sites to loyalty sites.

Affiliates are internet marketers who earn commissions by promoting products. When you become an affiliate your internet marketing skills can lead to additional income.

Features and benefits include:-

• Simple and fast
• Hundreds of products to promote
• High converting products drive your marketing programs
• Reliable and accurate tracking gives you credit for your successful marketing strategies
• Publisher relationships are managed so you always get paid what you are owed

If you have a website with excellent content and a niche audience, perhaps you have not yet worked out the best way to make money from your traffic. You can pick up text links, banners and other creatives and product feed from merchant sites.

Depending on your site and your audience you may wish to take advertisements from larger sites or more niche operators

If you have little time to manage this process you can give over an area on your site for advertising that is served by the company managing the marketing campaign for you. The system will deliver contextual advertisements based on keywords that you supply directly into your website. Over time it will serve advertisements which best convert into sales from your site.

The beauty of this technology is that it requires very little technical expertise. Whether you want to offer price or product comparisons, carry banners, text links and white label offerings. State of the art reporting and marketing tools are just a few clicks away

7 Tips for running a successful ‘work at home’ business

Posted in Work at Home Tips at 7:47 am by Andrew

  • Understand that your business’ success depends solely on you and therefore develop a level of self discipline and motivation that enables you to remain completely focussed on the objectives of your business.
  • Know what the objectives of your business are and stick to them. Don’t get distracted into other ideas or variations of your business until you are satisfied that the original core idea is developed and working. Many businesses that fail in the early days do so because they try to grow too quickly and expand into additional areas before their core product is fully developed and marketed.
  • Ensure you have a clear division between your personal and business lives. This is especially important when families with children are involved so the time spent working and the time spent with the family are entirely separate. Also make sure that the area you use for your work is clearly defined and as separate as it can be from your living space
  • Understand what your regulatory requirements are. There are a multitude of forms, requirements and deadlines that you have to meet with Companies House and the Inland Revenue which will impose fines if the deadlines are not met. It is therefore critical that you understand and can comply with these requirements.
  • Make the best use of the Internet as your communication channel. Working from home does not always provide the easiest network to develop contacts and market your product which can all be done through good use of the internet.
  • Organise your day. One of the keys to successfully working at home is the self discipline to focus on your objectives and if you’re not organised it is easy to become distracted and involved in something trivial that detracts from the main business in hand.
  • Ensure your systems are backed up. Most businesses being run from home rely on small networks which are not backed up regularly and with so much else to do it’s easy to overlook the importance of this until it’s too late. Losing a database of clients can be critical for a small business so ensure you have the necessary equipment in place to back up regularly and adequately support your business.
